Ginaro is an innovative RnD company specializing in the development of holograms and cutting-edge micro and nano-optics. Based in Israel, Ginaro has over a decade of experience in the prototyping and commercialization of holographic surfaces for a wide range of applications.
Ginaro invests in research and development for new technologies to enhance security screening, including tailored solutions to protect documents and brands with high security substrates, inks, and printed holographic features. Ginaro also supplies solutions for fabrications of nano-periodic structures using a variety of technologies, especially laser beam lithography.

Nano-optics
The miniaturization of conventional optics is restricted by diffraction to about half the light wavelength. In order to push the miniaturization of optical elements and devices new ideas are needed. One such idea is an optical technology based on surface plasmon resonance. This mixed photon-electron resonance constitutes electromagnetic modes tightly bound to interfaces positioned between a metal or a high diffractive index oxide and a dielectric.
These engineered metasurfaces have revolutionized color emitting due to their unprecedented subwavelength resolution and high-density optical data storage. As a surface wave, the electromagnetic fields of a surface plasmon polariton decay exponentially in directions perpendicular to the surface plasmon carrying interface. Therefore, they are suited for the realization of two-dimensional optics, which is of general interest for current integrated optical and optoelectronic devices.
3D Holographic Displays
Our holographic capabilities vary between two and three dimensions. We create holograms that allow depth perception for two-dimensional objects. This technology is done by deceiving the eye. The ability is done by creating several layers on top of each other, where the focus of the interest is on the topmost layer, and has prominent characteristics of color, while the other layers are a background with a repeating pattern, and characteristics of shading around the front symbol.
Micro-optics
The use of micro-optics in decorative and brand protection applications has gained special interest with the advance of computer-generated structures. These micro structures provide new tools in the hands of designers and enable them to provide both astounding and secure packaging.

Brand Protection
Ginaro specializes in creating brand protection holograms that can protect products from counterfeiting and unauthorized use. These holograms are unique to each brand and product, and they are difficult to replicate or reproduce. Our clients use these holograms as deterrents for tampering, as well as to provide unique identification and authentication.
Ginaro can also integrate brand protection holograms into product packaging- or even the products themselves- to prevent counterfeiters from reselling their goods and ensure the authenticity of the product.
Security Applications
Ginaro can design holograms intended to create unique identification features for documents, such as certificates of authenticity or warranties. This makes it much more difficult for counterfeiters to produce convincing copies, helping to prevent fraud and ensure the document is genuine.
